"Garden City" was operated by the Niagara, St. Catharines, and Toronto Navigation Company and provided passenger service between Toronto and Niagara. “Garden City” remained in service until 1916.
The N.S. & T electric rail line was extended to Port Dalhousie and Lakeside Park in 1901. Lakeside Park was run jointly beginning in 1920s by Canadian National Railway and the Niagara St. Catharines & Thorold Railway. The line terminated at the wharf.
