- The Niagara Apothecary, Niagara-on-the-Lake. The structure is a Victorian style commercial building. The façade features colonettes, cable moulding, and Italianate style arcaded windows. A Golden Mortar hangs on the front of the building, above the door.

Constructed in the 1820's, the original pharmacy was called the Sign of the Golden Mortar. The store remained a pharmacy until it closed in 1964, making it the second oldest continually operating pharmacy in Canada. On May 14th, 1971 the Niagara Apothecary opened as a living museum. - Date de l'original
