The 1901 City Directory lists a George C. Babcock as residing on Mary Street and working for Dr. Thos. Clark. After 1901, the City Directory lists Babcock at 6 Mary Street and he appears to have held various occupations over the years such as driver, inspector, and General Secretary of the YMCA. George C. Babcock does not appear in the City Directory after 1914.
Mary Street became Garden Park.
