Businesses noted: Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, The Standard

The St. Paul and Queen Street branch of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce first opened May 25, 1867 as the Canadian Bank of Commerce. It became a branch of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in June, 1961. This location closed in June, 1982.

The St. Catharines Standard moved to the building at 21 Queen Street in 1898. They remained at this location until 2013 when the newspaper moved to 1 St. Paul Street.
