Haynes Presbyterian Church goes back to 1876 with a small church on Haynes Avenue and Seneca Street. The congregation eventually outgrew that location and built a new church at 124 Queenston Street in 1896. In the 1920's the congregation, by then known as Westminster United Church, moved to a new location at 180 Queenston Street.
The building was later used by an evangelical Christian church and was re-named the Elim Tabernacle. They moved to a new location in 1969. St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church operated out of the building until 2005 after which the building became home to the Westview Christian Fellowship. - Inscriptions
