Beaverdams Methodist Church was constructed in 1832 and is Ontario's oldest standing Methodist church. Regular services were discontinued in 1890 but the building served as a Sunday School until the 1970's. The building was designated under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1994, which includes an adjacent burying ground. - Date of Original
