The cabin had been located on a farm in Louth Township.

The farm originally belonged to Matthew Seaburn who had received a grant of 100 acres of Crown Land. Richard Woodruff purchased the farm and his children, James R and A.H. Woodruff, owned the property at the time this image was taken.
