The Royal Bank established a branch at 89-91 St. Paul Street after taking over the Traders Bank of Canada in 1912.
The old building housing the bank was demolished in 1968 and the Royal Bank built a new, modern building on the same site which officially opened on Feb. 26, 1969. - Date of Publication
