He was a tool and die maker who became a machine shop secondary school educator in Niagara Falls, Guelph and in Eastdale Secondary School , Welland (1962-1974). He taught 10 years at the Ontario College of Education, University of Toronto as a summer school technical trainer. He was also the author of technical text books (1959-2008)
