McKinnon Dash and Metal Works, located on Ontario Street in St. Catharines, decided to manufacture automobiles after World War I. It was bought out by General Motors in 1929. Production began to decline at General Motors in the 1970s and 1980s and the plant finally closed in 2010. The site was sold to the Bayshore Group and demolition began in 2016. - Date of Original
