- A photograph of blacksmiths and pre-World War 1 Army at Niagara Shoeing Forge, Niagara-on-the-Lake, c1909.
The men are from the Governor General's Horse Guards from Toronto and there are a couple of officers as well as troopers in the photo. They are likely newly arrived at Camp Niagara and are having their horses reshod.
