The scene is possibly a section of the Canal between where the Hotel Dieu used to be and the far end of the Ridley Campus. The image originated from the St. John Family and the St. John family mansion was located where the Hotel Dieu later stood.
Built in Windsor, 1888. It spent most of its life operating between Niagara and Toronto. - Date of Original
