He served in the Merchant Marine during WWII, held an ONI and was CAPTAIN and Pilot in the Great Lakes; He was one of the founders of the Marine School in the Niagara Peninsula and was an Instructor and Co-ordinator for over 30 years; Survived by his wife Rosina, his son Thomas; also survived by his sisters Florence, Margaret and Lois; predeceased by his sisters Agnes, Adeline, and his brother Donald; He was a member of the Corporation of Professional Great Lakes Pilots, Canadian Merchant Navy Veterans Association, The International Shipmasters Association, Royal Canadian Naval Association; Cremation
