Place of Burial: St. Mark's Cemetery, Niagara-on-the-lake, Ontario
Obituary Notice; Died at Ridley College; In his military life he rose to the position of second commander of the 19th St. Catharines Regiment; In 1903 he was granted a years extension so he could have the honour of opening the Armoury; During the Great War he was a member of the Officers Training Corps at Camp Borden; He was in charge of the Ridley cadets; He was engaged in Business with Dr. Mack at the old Springbank Sanitarium and was later the manager of the Sanitarium; When the Sanitarium was taken over for the use of Ridley College he was appointed Bursar of the College; predeceased by Thairs, Edward Fox LIEUTENANT (son); predeceased by his wife; he is survived by one sister in England
