Obituary Notice; Also survived by his wife; He was born in Bridport, England; Owned the Maple Leaf Rubber Company; Director of the Canadian Rubber Footwear Association and also of the American Rubber Association; Died at 60 years of age; Served as the reeve of Port Dalhousie in 1907 and 1908 and sat on the Lincoln County Council on those years; Was the president of the St. Catharines Rowing Club and took a keen interest in the development of the Royal Canadian Henley giving a lot of time and money to its development. The annual deficits were largely taken care of by Mr. Foote and Captain A. H. Malcolmson; Served on the Board of Directors of the Henley Aquatic Association
