Predeceased by her husband, James Secord Esq.; Mrs. Secord having ascertained informaton that a large American force was proceeding to the Beaver dams, informed Col. Fitzgibbon , who intercepted the enemy. At a visit to the Prince of Wales in 1860 was introduced to Col. Boerstler who gave her a token of his respect for her patriotism and intrepdity.; Age 91 years
